Catalina’s Kitchen was founded in 2015. Although a fairly new company we come from a deep and rich Latin culture. My family was born and raised in Coamo Puerto Rico where I first watched my grandmother along with my mother making all kinds of a Latin dishes, but the core of most of them was Sofrito. The aroma filled the house each day as they picked and cut each ingredient to carefully add it the pot to create the base for each Latin dish we still make today. 

 

I settled down in Ohio where I met my husband (Ted) and we together wanted to bring that same down home flavor and old world tradition that I grew up with. We strive for perfection with every ingredient in every small to large jar. We combined two big families who loves to cook day from sun up to sun down and along with our kids Tony, Ricky, and Naudia we strive to instill knowledge to help everyone explore the many fantastic dishes to share with your family.
